At Sonar Shield, we specialize in designing protective gear for marine electronics—transducer covers and fish finder visors made to handle the road, the elements, and everything in between. What started as a simple idea while out fishing has grown into a fast-moving, proudly veteran-owned small business trusted by anglers across the country.

The spark came during a fishing trip with a friend. We were asking ourselves:

“Why don’t these $1,500 sonar systems come with a protective cover?”

That question led to months of late nights, prototyping, and problem-solving. Eventually, we created a product that didn’t exist—but absolutely should have. Sonar Shield was born from a need for real, durable protection that anglers could count on.

We're a husband-and-wife team. Drew, a former Military Police officer, and Tiffany, a former Quartermaster Lieutenant, both served in the U.S. Army. The skills we gained there—discipline, logistics, leadership, and follow-through—laid the foundation for how we run Sonar Shield today. It’s that same no-shortcuts mindset that goes into every product we make.

From the shop to the shipping table, our kids are involved in packing orders, learning how things are made, and offering their own ideas for colors and designs. We’ve built this company around our kitchen table, and we bring that same care and connection to every customer who supports us.
