Built around the LVS34
This is the Sonar Shield cover made for the Garmin LiveScope Plus LVS34. Its injection-molded ASA shell is designed to help protect against scratches and impacts, and its quick-release latch makes covering and uncovering part of your normal routine. A protective cover is a physical layer around your equipment. It does not replace a secure transducer mount, careful handling or your boat’s transport restraints. Keep each part of the setup doing its own job.
Make “cover on” part of packing up
Pick a consistent point in your end-of-day routine—after the equipment is stowed as directed and before you leave the ramp. These are Sonar Shield’s suggested checks; follow the instructions supplied with your cover, transducer and mount.
- Look before you cover. Inspect the transducer and the inside of the cover. Address loose grit or debris using the equipment maker’s care instructions rather than closing the cover over it.
- Check the fit and latch. Seat the correct cover as directed and confirm the latch is engaged. If it does not close normally, stop and check the alignment. Forcing a latch is not a fit solution.
- Check the whole travel position. Look for contact with nearby hardware and make sure the transducer cable is not trapped beneath equipment. Secure the mount or pole according to its own instructions.
- Give the cover a home while fishing. Store the removed cover somewhere it will be easy to find at pack-up time. A small repeatable habit is easier to keep than a last-minute search through the boat.
Confirm the transducer—not just the screen
“Garmin LiveScope” names a family of equipment. Before ordering, confirm LVS34 on your transducer information or purchase record. Your display’s screen size or model name alone does not identify the connected transducer. Do not assume this cover fits an LVS32, LVS62 or a different LiveScope generation.
